“If I could have a meal with anyone in the world, it would be with my great-grandmother. She passed before I was born, so I never had the opportunity to meet her. Many people tell me we are alike. She was also an educator, which I just recently came to know. I would would ask her about my mother and what she was like as a child. I would want to hear stories about life during her time, the challenges she experienced as an African-American woman in educate and how education has chagned over the years.”

Tasneem worked formerly as a Math Department Chair, where she was a part of her school’s Instruction Leadership Team.
