Sabrina Johnson is the School Services Coordinator at Environmental Charter Middle School – Gardena. In this role, the New York native will apply her skills in Education, Business Management, and Public Administration to contribute to a healthy school climate. Sabrina was drawn to ECS because its goals and objectives are aligned with her personal and professional interests. She is eager to influence communities of color on a larger scale and this opportunity allowed her to do just that.
Most recently, Sabrina served as an AmeriCorps Vista member as an Education policy coordinator. Through that work, she was able to build capacity in low-income communities of color through community outreach, event planning, partnership building, resource development and workshop facilitation.
Sabrina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from SUNY Canton, A Masters in Public Administration from Long Island University, and is a Ph.D. Candidate actively pursuing a degree in Education Policy, Leadership & Management at Walden University. Her interests include traveling, and advocacy work for students of color. Additionally, her favorite book is “The Little Black Book of Success: Laws of Leadership for Black Women”.
