Dr. O’Leary is a visionary leader and a licensed educator with a doctorate in organizational leadership from Brandman University, a master’s degree in leadership education from the University of California, Los Angeles, 10 years of experience instructing ELA to secondary students, and more than five years leading school culture and performance at both primary and secondary levels. She understands the value in collaborating with stakeholder groups and implementing effective and innovative programs. She believes in the importance of providing a high-quality public education to all students, and she is committed to exposing all students to a rigorous learning environment that will challenge and stimulate their desire to learn. Dr. O’Leary has a passion to meet the needs of all students by establishing trusting and supportive relationships with each student and their families. Committed to social justice, she aims to develop a school community that builds self-efficacy, empowers student voice, and closes the achievement gap. She is excited to join the ECMS-Gardena family and greatly looks forward to building meaningful relationships with all members of the school community.
