How to initiate access to available pupil mental health services on campus or in the community
ECMS’s health services (including mental health) are offered in the Main Office. Although ECMS does not have a health specialist on staff, a trained staff member is available to provide basic assistance during school hours. For access to mental health services in the community, please see the Beach Cities Mental Health Resources webpage.
ECMS counselors provide student support both in and beyond the classroom by meeting socio-emotional needs; providing college support, creating special opportunities for internships and jobs, connecting students with enrichment opportunities, and establishing support groups and clubs for a variety of unique interests and needs.
